French Bronze Le Larcin by Charles Anfrie

French Bronze Le Larcin by Charles Anfrie. A French 19th Century sculptor, born in 1833 and died in 1905. This handsome statue features a young, mischievous boy enjoying a taste of a purloined snack. Finger resting by his lips, he looks off into the distance, savoring his ill gotten gains. The brass statuette stands on a marble base, with a metal plate baring the name of the piece and the artist. The artists signature, C. Anfrie, appears on the top of the bronze base, next to the statues’ right foot.

Item measures approximately 17 3/4″ Tall x 6″ Wide.

Base measures approximately 6″ in Diameter.

Condition:

Item appears in Very Good pre-owned condition with wear commensurate with age and use. Figure appears in Very Good condition, with no major cracks, repairs, or blemishes. Marble base contains two small areas with cracks. Lastly, please review all photos as they are an important part of our listing.
