Palatial French Vintage, Louis XVI Style, Kingwood, and Ormolu Mounted Cabinet.
This bold cabinet declares the flamboyance of the Louis XVI era and yet remains a very practical piece of furniture offering spacious storage without taking up a huge footprint.
The veined marble top follows down to a narrow drawer with two cupboards and side panels below, surmounted with heavy gilt ormolu decoration.
Pillars to the corners of the piece are fluted and follow down to decorated pad feet for easy placement against walls.
The interior space of the cabinet has one center shelf across the width of the piece.
CONDITION:
This cabinet is in excellent condition for its age. There are no obvious blemishes or marks.
