“The name of this camera seems a bit long and complex. Each of its terms refers to a specific characteristic of it. For example, folding refers to a folding camera. The term cartridge indicates that it uses a film on a roll, in this case reference 120 that allows taking photographs in a 6×9 (6×9 centimeters) format, very appropriate for making enlarged copies of photographs from their negative. The word Hawkeye, refers to the technology used in its shutter, which had originally been developed by Blair Camera Co and then modified by Boston Camera Co. In this camera the model C of this type of shutter was used.”
