A Vintage Sterling Silver Signed Taxco Mexico Modernist Bracelet. Capturing the eye, the modernist design plays a part in the bracelets functionality as the hinges become seamless in an engraved line. Stamped “Mexico Taxco” and “TJ-05 925” on the inside of the bracelet. Additionally the initials GJH appear beneath the Mexico engraving. The bracelet secures with clasp and safety chain. Weight of the silver is 1.5oz (44g). Stamped 925, this bracelet is sterling silver.

Taxco, short for Taxco de Alarcón, is a small city in Mexico. The city is heavily associated with silver due to mining and consequently the production of fine silver items. Today, mining is no longer a mainstay of the city’s economy however, the city’s reputation for fine silver work stands strong.
