Antique Angelo Asti Portrait Print, “Juliet” – Convex Glass, Copyright 1900
This portrait print bears an A. Asti signature in the bottom right corner and a printed 1900 copyright line for Braun, Clément et Cie—a prominent 20th cent. French art reproduction firm. Convex glass gives the portrait a gentle dimensional effect. The wooden outer frame has an ornate gold-tone inner border with scrolling foliage. A handwritten inscription appears on the backing. The piece is in good antique condition, with a fine scratch visible across the glass and cracking in the gold-tone inner border. The piece is priced accordingly and the price is firm.
