Cancellations and Refunds
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Due to the unique nature of the antiques and collectibles retail industry, Avonlea Antiques & Interiors does not issue refunds, exchanges, credits or returns.
Avonlea Antiques & Interiors ensures that we do our best to describe our products accurately and honestly based on the best resources available while the listing is in preparation. Any text description is supplemented by photographs meant to afford a visual perspective, approximating those of an on-site preview as closely as is possible in an online retail venue. Previews of items are available at our physical store location in Jacksonville, FL upon request. Avonlea Antiques & Interiors is happy to try and clarify information and provide additional support according to our customers’ wishes. Meanwhile, please read the product description and condition report carefully (including dimensions), examine all photographs closely and request additional images if desired. Finally, please attempt to resolve any questions before placing your order.
Please remember that many of our available items are antique and many decades old. Expect some wear and tear such as minor scratches or blemishes. We are careful to note any damage or repairs that the items may have sustained in the listing. Contact us with 24-48 hours of purchase if there is a problem with the order that you have placed and we will do our best to mediate the issue. Restocking fees may apply in rare cases where management agrees to refunds, cancellations, credits, exchanges or returns. Orders awaiting pick-up and shipment may not be cancelled.
At the end of the day, Avonlea Antiques & Interiors is committed to making our customers happy. If you aren’t happy, we’re not happy—so we work together to reach a reasonable solution to the problem.
Warranties
Avonlea Antiques & Interiors strives to bring quality antiques, collectibles and home décor products to the marketplace. We note any damage, condition issues and/or repairs in our listings. Due to the unique nature of many of our products, they are sold as-is, with no warranty or guarantee.
Our written statements, although based on fact, research, and occasionally appraisal, must be considered strictly as opinions. The buyer is responsible for final judgment to accept or reject our opinion. We assume that you accept the information provided once you have purchased the item.

What is subject to Florida Sales Tax?
Orders collected in person by the purchaser or by his/her agent are subject to 7.5% sales tax.
All orders shipped to Florida addresses are subject to 7.5% sales tax, unless legitimate sales tax permit certificates of exemption can be provided.
*Please note that Florida’s general sales tax rate is 6%. Due to the fact Avonlea Antiques and Design Gallery is located within Duval County our tax rate is fixed at the higher county rate of 7.5%.
What is NOT subject to Florida Sales Tax?
All order shipped to addresses outside of Florida are NOT subject to Florida Sales Tax.
Buyers within the State of Florida must submit at time of purchase a legitimate Sales Tax Permit Certificate to be exempt from Florida Sales Tax. Please contact us at shop@avonleamall.com
Storage
Avonlea Antiques & Interiors does not store items once purchased in full. If there are extenuating circumstances then we can store your item at $50 a week for up to 3 weeks. If the item is left behind for 4 weeks or more without pickup or delivery arrangements being made, the item will be considered abandoned and will be listed again for sale with no refund to the buyer.
