Herend Hungary Blue Garland Perfume Bottle with Butterfly Dabber

$150.00

This is a rare piece, a hand-painted porcelain perfume bottle with 24k gold accents, crafted by Herend of Hungary. As many collectors are aware, Herend is a world-renowned porcelain manufactory that has produced high-quality, luxury pieces for both royalty and the stars, notably Queen Victoria, who has a pattern in her namesake.

This perfume bottle is in the Blue Garland pattern (PBG), with a pink butterfly sitting atop the stopper/dabber. Vibrant blues, greens, and pinks stand against the white porcelain backdrop, all hand-painted. 24k gold accents adorn the base, rim, and lid of the perfume bottle. With the dabber in, it stands at approximately 6″ tall; the stopper itself is about 4.5″ in length. The entire piece weighs 8.7 oz, or a little over ½ lb. It is marked on the bottom 6959/PBC. This piece is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, marks, or crazing. It has been well taken care of by our Avonlea dealer, and it is available both online and in-store, waiting to be cherished by you.
