This sewing table takes inspiration from the Georgian era (1714-1837). It is crafted from mahogany, with the table’s lid being veneered with flame mahogany. Inside the table are 9 dovetailed drawers of various sizes, with removable lids. One compartment features an attached pincushion, a deep red embroidered fabric, and two vintage pins. On either side of the pincushion are divided storage for spools of thread.
This sewing table is not only ideal for collectors and enthusiasts of Georgian furniture, but it makes an excellent piece for a seamstress or sewing enthusiast, especially hand sewing.
The sewing table stands at 30 inches in height, is 23 inches long, and 17 inches wide. There are minor blemishes on the table, but they have been photographed for you to keep note of. It should be noted that the main compartment drawer inside the table has a chipped knob, and that the original brass for the keyhole is no longer there. The sewing table is in otherwise good condition and has been priced accordingly, keeping in mind the craftsmanship as well as its uniqueness.
