Wee Stinker Collegiate Skunk

On top of being adorable, this little skunk is a wonderful piece of mid-century memorabilia. The Wee Stinker Skunk is a vintage toy made by Collegiate Toys Personality Pets in the 1950s. It is a solid toy with a soft fur exterior. The skunk wears a blue felt badge with an orange ‘D’, attached to a red satin ribbon. Though the ribbon is frayed due to age, it remains securely tied and holds the felt badge intact. There is discoloration throughout, most noticeably on the white parts of the fur. However, this piece is in fantastic condition for its age, with no holes, missing parts, or loose stitches. The Wee Stinker Collegiate Skunk would be a perfect addition to any vintage toy collection.

CONDITION:

It is our opinion that this piece is in excellent condition considering its age. However, there are some things to note. The ribbon is frayed due to age, but it remains securely tied and holds the felt badge intact. There is wear and tear on the left side of the face, pictured here. There is discoloration throughout, most noticeably on the white parts of the fur. Despite these age-related flaws, there are no holes, missing parts, or loose stitches. Lastly, we recommend this skunk be used as a display piece only and not as a toy. Please use discernment.
